Dover Equine Veterinary tailors preventative medicine to fit your horse’s needs. Dr Callie Benoit Cuthbertson is our veterinarian. We have a full time assistant, Christine Crawford O'Keefe, and a part-time office administrator, Donna Margulies. We three ladies make a strong team, pulled together to give the best possible care to your horse(s).

We offer 24-hour emergency services, Primary Care, Preventative and Sports Medicine, Routine and Performance Dentistry, Nutritional Counseling, Lameness evaluations including Digital Radiography and Ultrasound, Reproduction, Neonatal (foal care) and Geriatric Medicine. When assistance from a specialist is needed, Dover Equine gladly consults with Boarded-Certified veterinarians in our area to discuss treatment plans and arrange appointments as needed for your horse.

Dover Equine Veterinary serves the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck, including the counties of Hanover, Caroline, New Kent, King William, King and Queen, Essex, Middlesex, Richmond, Northumberland, Westmoreland and Lancaster.
